Renewal
With the changing modern landscape comes the need to both upgrade and replace ageing infrastructure and facilitate the ongoing redevelopment of state’s urban and rural areas.
The commitment to providing new and improved infrastructure, just as our name suggests, has been a pillar to Neo’s success since inception.

Featured Projects
Magor Road Stormwater
To address ongoing flooding issues in this popular Pt Pirie location, Neo were engaged to install over 600m of large diameter stormwater pipe.
Challenges included working with ground water, modifying alignments of existing services, and working on a busy thoroughfare maintaining traffic movements.

Tapanappa Ridge Road Deep Creek
Neo has completed works on the reconstruction of the Tapanappa Ridge Road within the popular Deep Creek National Park near Cape Jervis on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
This undulating narrow road has been upgraded to improve both the longitudinal geometrics (flattening steep sections) and increase the road width for safer access to the newly constructed lookout facility and camping grounds as well as better access for emergency response operations. The 4.5km road has had a significant pavement upgrade with the steeper sections sealed to improve traction. Drainage and runoff control will be constructed to quickly disperse stormwater from the pavement and its substructure to facilitate a significant reduction in ongoing maintenance and ensure the road can accommodate all weather access. The new road will provide a much better visitor experience for the 150,000+ visitors that frequent the National Park yearly.

Sunnymeade Drive Intersection Upgrade
This busy intersection upgrade is adjacent to multiple primary schools, churches, and early learning centres. The project was aimed to safely improve vehicle and pedestrian movements through the three main intersections off Sunnymeade drive to the Mega Campus in Aberfoyle Park.
As the project was awarded before the Christmas break, Neo hit the ground running in the new year with the mindset to reduce impact to the local community and campus users when the schooling year resumed. Neo were very accommodating to the community and still managed to meet programme, resulting in very happy stakeholders.

Whites Bridge Restoration
Neo were engaged to repair and strengthen “The White Bridge” located in the Brownhill Creek Recreation Reserve that was significantly damaged during the major storm event in September 2016. The bridge is the only access to residencies east of the bridge and access had to be maintained at all times.
Neo developed an alternative design to reduce the construction risk to potentially further damage to the bridge integrity which both provided continual access and minimised the impact on the existing structure. Works were undertaken in the wetter months and had to accommodate constant creek flows and the associated strict environmental controls.

Farnsworth Roundabout
Neo were awarded a contract via the City of Onkaparinga to upgrade an outdated roundabout at Farnsworth Drive Woodcroft. The reconstruction of this roundabout improved vehicle and pedestrian movements for Woodcroft College, Woodcroft Shopping Centre, and the local residents.
Works were undertaken to minimize shop and school users and included asphalt surfacing night works.

Boral Concrete Plant
As part of the major development of Boral’s southern Linwood quarry, Neo worked jointly with Boral’s development crew to deliver a new state-of-the-art concrete batching plant.
Erecting over 8m high precast retaining walls and over 600m3 of hard stand concrete pavement formed key elements of the project. Neo’s involvement commenced at the design stage as part of a stakeholder group and directly negotiated the works with Boral to meet the exacting time constraints.

Yandra Terrace Stormwater
This project was commissioned to cater for the additional run off generated form recent large-scale developments in the area and to alleviate the coastal erosion experienced with the old system.
Works included the construction of large swale works lined with reno rock mattresses and gabion baskets, approx. 25 large pits and 400m of large diameter concrete pipe installation including 110m of drainage down a major arterial DPTI road (Port Elliot Rd). The pipe network was installed at depths up to 4m.
