Blewitt Springs Bridge
Blewitt Springs Road is the only B-Double approved route connecting many wineries to Main Road in McLaren Flat. As the existing bridge was not designed to withstand these high loads and volumes of trucks, it began showing signs of failure.
Neo were contracted to undertake the construction of a new RCBC bridge, along with a road reconstruction and long spanning in-situ concrete retaining wall. Due to the inconvenience and high publicity surrounding the closure of the road, it was vital for Neo to complete the bridge construction within the prescribed construction period to avert lost transport productivity.

The northern suburbs of Adelaide are rapidly expanding as a result of major infrastructure investment over the past decade. When rural quickly becomes urban, infrastructure upgrades are necessary to accommodate the new land divisions.
Neo was contracted to upgrade three unsealed roads to provide a heavy duty sealed pavement to accommodate both the development and ongoing access to the new growth areas.

Due to constant high level river flows, undertaking the work from the ground was not possible. Neo’s methodology included “rope and harness” access from the top of the bridge to repair the decaying concrete and substrate.

The District Council of Mount Barker received ‘Black Spot’ funding to upgrade this notoriously dangerous intersect ion. The construction had to cater for ongoing access for both vehicular and pedestrian movements as well as residential access to adjoining properties.
The construction provided many challenges particularly those associated with building pavements in the wet Adelaide Hills winter season. Despite such challenges Neo delivered a high-quality project on time with minimal disruption.

One Tree Hill Road
One Tree Hill road is a major thoroughfare linking the north-east and northern suburbs in SA.
Neo were engaged to reconstruct over 3km of this high trafficked road to upgrade the pavement and improve the road geometrics to comply with the speed limits. Construction was done under full live traffic.
