Mannum Levees
Although the South Australian Riverland floods are thankfully no longer posing a threat to the busy town of Mannum, the work for Neo's regional crew is still in full swing.
The focus now turning to controlling the significant amount of material used to build the levees during the flooding event in late 2022 and into early 2023. Between all contractors, over 60,000m3 of material has been dug out of the borrowing pit and is now being returned to the borrowing pit to be backfilled in a controlled manner. The Mid-Murray Council have entrusted Neo to undertake this operation.
